Daily Vibranium: There is more to life than finding a man

Have you ever met someone who is in love with someone new every few weeks? Don't be so desperate for love that you end up hopping from relationship to relationship. DESPERATION is not a sexy trait at all. Every guy isn't meant to be " the one". Stop allowing yourself to be so gullible and vulnerable for the wrong one. SNAP OUT OF IT! *Deep breath* Okay, What I'm trying to say is ...you can't believe every guy who says he loves you. All you’re going to do is end up having an epic string of bad relationships, as you concoct reasons to justify why all the men aren't THAT bad. Stop lowering your standards by dating " potential". Refrain from crossing off your dating requirements and labeling it a "compromise". Have you forgotten who you are? Have you forgotten what you have to offer? Maybe its time to remind yourself. Getting a man shouldn't be your biggest accomplishment. Don't skip pass your own development and neglect personal growth, because you are too busy out here chasing a man.

Love at first site is a sweet concept, but don't let the idea consume your life. Stop falling madly in love with all the frogs you kiss. "There’s nothing wrong with being single. It’s not like you have some disease that only your true love can cure." Let the love of one's self, family and friends be enough to enjoy your life.

There is more to life than finding a man. The stars will align when the time is right and it will all make sense. Remember, the outfit can stand alone--it will be cute with or without the purse, its not an essential component, but rather an accessory. (You'll catch that one later).

In the meantime, enjoy your friends and family, travel and work on your career. If " Mr. Right" happens to stumble into your life in the midst of it all .. then see it as a bonus.
