You didn't have to be a super fan to see that Nipsey Hussle was reaching new heights through his philanthropy efforts and vivid display of compassion for the younger generations. An outstanding father, husband, artist and leading part of our culture. This man made it his business and mission to feed his community and work tirelessly toward changing the world, one day at a time. It hits a little differently when someone whom was so influential, is taken away, in the blink of an eye. I hope that Nipsey's efforts and progress will continue to live on for years to come. I hope that his plans for the future are executed and that his legacy always finds a way to shine through. We need more people to model the characteristics and genuineness that Nipsey possessed and chose to spread. Nipsey projected such positive energy and truly aimed to take care of those who were voiceless, left behind or forgotten. Nipsey acted selflessly and wholeheartedly to reduce gang-violence, break down social barriers and dismember class divides. Nipsey was a one of a kind and will forever be remembered for his role in society, culturally- based activism and unmatched accomplishments .

Hip-hop lost a wonderful person,a pure soul and prime example of black excellence...a true icon.

Another cruel reminder that our time on this earth is limited. Hug your loved ones a little tighter.
